About me

I am an experienced integrative counsellor and an accredited and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am qualified to work with adults, children and young people and hold an enhanced DBS certificate. 
I was recently employed by a leading UK mental health organisation to set up and run the counselling service of a sixth-form college.  I also have 18 months experience offering IAPT-compliant counselling to adults experiencing common mental health symptoms such as depression and anxiety.

A qualified secondary school teacher, I have taught in a range of schools and colleges. I have been pastoral and subject lead, and I have extensive safeguarding experience. I am also a writer and editor. 
I have lived and worked in East and West Europe and in South and Southeast Asia.
